Key Responsibilities: Use SDS2 software to produce accurate and detailed shop and erection drawings for structural steel projects. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into fabrication details. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure design accuracy and project
specifications. Review designs for compliance with project standards, building codes, and industry regulations. Communicate effectively with other team members to resolve issues or clarify details. Maintain and update drawing logs and project files as needed. Assist in resolving technical queries during the fabrication and erection
phases of the project.
Qualifications:Proven experience as an SDS2 Detailer with a focus on structural steel projects. Proficiency in SDS2 software and experience with other 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Tekla, etc. is a plus). Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection processes, and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret
architectural, engineering, and construction drawings. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Familiarity with AISC standards and building codes is preferred.
